CHCS Services and Wellpoint Health Networks Partner in Long-Term Care

WESTON, Fla., Aug 20, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- CHCS Services, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Universal American Financial Corp. (NASDAQ: UHCO ) and a leading administrator of senior insurance and non-insurance products, today announced a four-year contract for the administration of Wellpoint Health Network's Long-Term Care products in California, Illinois and Indiana.

Effective October 1st, CHCS will be performing the general policy administration as well as case management and claim payments for all existing policies and new business marketed through Wellpoint.
